TEN-year-old Sheffield schoolgirl Sian Morris has been refused a free bus pass to help her get to lessons, even though her father can no longer drive her because he has suffered a stroke.
Sian moved to a new home in Ingram Road, Norfolk Park, but her family decided she should continue to attend her old school, Concord Juniors at Wincobank, as she was nearing the end of her time there.
Dad Robert had been taking Sian to school in the car until the stroke in June left him unable to drive.
Since then Sian has had to catch two buses to school, costing [pounds sterling]1.60 a day.
