Rockware Glass is changing its name.
The glass manufacturer, which has plants in Doncaster and Barnsley, will now be known as Ardagh Glass, after its Irish parent group.
The name change follows Dublin-based Ardagh's ?660 million ([pounds sterling]447 million) acquisition of Rexam Glass' European plants, making it the third biggest glass container producer in Europe.
Ardagh acquired Rexam's plant in Barnsley two years ago for [pounds sterling]50 million, changing its name to Rockware after the UK-based glass business which it already owned.
