WORCESTER - Well, I didn't see that coming.
With more than 100 million views on YouTube, I wrote off Jeff Dunham as simply an Internet star. Sure, he has two Comedy Central Presents ("Arguing with Myself" and "Spark of Insanity"), which are two of the highest-rated showings. I just didn't buy into the hype.
After all, he is a ventriloquist. Someone who needs puppets to help him be funny just never really appealed to me. Until Saturday night.
Dunham brought his "Spark of Insanity Tour" to the DCU Center and had the 7,000-plus in attendance laughing for the entire 90-minute performance.
