Women's rights advocates led by Kathryn Mazierski staged a protest in Buffalo Friday calling on state Assembly member Sam Hoyt to resign in the wake of admitting to having a torrid tryst with an Albany intern many years his junior.
And the Buffalo News confirmed the story, first broken in print by the Niagara Falls Reporter a week ago, that the woman in question--Lori Gradwell--was an intern in the office of state Rep. Teresa Sayward at the time the illicit affair began.
