A RISING teenage ballet star has glided her way into a prestigious dance school.
Tara Gaunt, 14, had to go through three rounds of auditions to get a place at the Northern School of Contemporary Dance - which is involved with the Northern Ballet Theatre.
Tara decided she wanted to audition after seeing a theatre dance performance with her mum.
"I practiced almost everyday, it was really hard work," said Tara, who has lessons at Timestep School of Dance based in Norristhorpe.
