MINNEAPOLIS
MICHAEL CUDDYER, who almost always wears a smile, made a face as if he had just bitten into a lemon wedge. After signing a three-year, $24 million contract with the Minnesota Twins during the offseason, he has suffered through one physical mishap after another.
"You feel like you're letting your teammates down," said Cuddyer, a Great Bridge High School graduate. "You feel like you're letting the fans down, letting the coaches down, letting the front office down."
He shook his head.
