SFDA to tighten supervision over food and nutritional supplements
Shanghai. September 10. INTERFAX-CHINA - The State Food and Drug Administration will increase supervision over food and nutritional supplements, according to a Sept. 8 SFDA announcement in which the SFDA listed the main responsibilities of its divisions.
The report states that three new divisions namely, an investigations bureau, a food permit division and a food safety supervision division, have been set up, indicating that the SFDA will assume more responsibility over food and nutritional supplements.
