RACISM has been given the boot in Wakefield after young people took part in a national event.
Kick it Out, football's anti-racism campaign, encouraged schools and community groups to take part in a whole host of events between October 17 and October 30.
Pupils at Pinders Primary School were visited by volunteers from local charity Next Generation when they learned about the history and role of ethnic minorities in football, politics and entertainment.
