WHITBY's adopted ship, the Grand Turk, is due back at the end of this month for a four week stay in the town.
Following a tour of the UK and Europe, the ship is expected to arrive in Whitby during the last few days in July.
It will then stay throughout August before heading back out on another trip.
The Grand Turk left Whitby in May for what could have been its last summer tour from the town.
It is still up for sale but speaking before the departure, Captain Ian Macdougal said he was hopeful the ship could remain in Whitby if a buyer comes forward.
During its tour, The Grand Turk has called in at places such as Kent, Belfast, ...
