TWO kind-hearted Whitby women are flying out to the third poorest country in the world on a two-week mission to help the needy.
And they are appealing to Whitby Gazette readers to help them in their quest.
Sue Beck of High Stakesby and her friend Carole Elliott of Golden Grove, who both attend Whitby Christian Fellowship, are making the long journey to Burkina Faso in West Africa on 4 September.
They have been inspired to take part in the trip by Pastor Dar Sie Joel who Sue met three years ago when he was studying English at the town's Functional English school when it was in Chubb Hill and they have kept in touch ever since, corresponding by ...
