OAK BROOK, Ill., Sept. 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Today, the University HealthSystem Consortium (UHC) announced that Jacob (Jake) J. Groenewold will join the organization as Vice President, Supply Chain, effective October 13, 2008.

As Vice President, Supply Chain, Mr. Groenewold will be responsible for establishing and executing the strategic direction for UHC's supply chain services, including collaboration with UHC's contracting services company, Novation. He will lead initiatives that maximize the value UHC's services deliver to help members achieve and sustain their supply chain performance goals.
