TORONTO, ONTARIO, Sep 12, 2008 (Marketwire via COMTEX) -- The Board of Mustang Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE:MUM)(FRANKFURT:NJF) is pleased to announce an agreement to explore the East Bull Lake Project, 80km west of Sudbury in Ontario, Canada (Figure 1).
Western Areas (TSX:WSA)(ASX:WSA) can earn a 65% interest in the project from Mustang Minerals by funding up to C$4.5M in two stages over five years. The project includes net smelter royalty interests. The main purpose of the joint venture is to drill out a number of high quality nickel-copper-platinum group metals ("PGM") targets already defined by Mustang.
