ATLANTA, July 15 /PRNewswire/ -- National Data Corporation (NYSE: NDC) today reported a 61 percent increase in earnings for the fiscal year ended May 31, excluding one-time charges. This follows a 38 percent increase last year and 31 percent in the prior year. Earnings totaled $24.7 million on revenue growth of 16 percent. Earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization totaled $59.4 million. Earnings per share grew to $1.01 from $.75 last year.

For the fourth quarter, earnings increased 56 percent before one-time charges. This is the fourth consecutive quarter with greater than 50 percent earnings growth. Revenue for the quarter grew at 29 percent ...
