TWO major dairy producers, Christis and Charalambides, yesterday held a joint news conference in Limassol to assure the public that adequate preventive tests on the milk used by the two dairy producers guarantees that their products do not contain aflatoxins.
"Since a few months ago, the two dairy producers have invested in equipment and have been acting preventively and on a daily basis, conducting the necessary lab tests for tracking aflatoxins both in the raw material (sheep, cow and goat milk) and in the final products," said Marios Kambanellas, Executive President of Christis Dairies.
