LONDON -- Alliance Boots' pharmacy wholesale division has developed what it calls a "virtual" pharmacy network, offering independent pharmacists a way to continue running their own businesses while getting some of the advantages of being part of a chain.
The Alphega Pharmacy network last month reached the milestone of having more than 1,000 members across several European countries.
