BURBANK, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 17, 1996--dick clark productions inc. (NASDAQ:DCPI) has concluded an agreement with HarperCollins Publisher for the publication of an oversized book tracing ``American Bandstand'' and its impact on the American scene musically and culturally over the last five decades.
The book will be based on Dick Clark's firsthand reminiscences of the popular show, tracing the history of rock 'n' roll as it parallels the history of ``American Bandstand'' and the history of the era, and will include hundreds of photographs and graphics drawn from Clark's extensive collection of rock 'n' roll memorabilia.
