Labor & Industry Acting Secretary Sandi Vito said Pennsylvania families have benefited from the commonwealth's July decision to administer a federally funded emergency unemployment compensation benefits program (see also Pennsylvania Department of Labor & Industry).
As of Aug. 21, Vito said there have been 100,517 emergency unemployment compensation claims filed in Pennsylvania resulting in $89.2 million in benefits.
