Time Warner unresponsive to LIN TV's attempts to negotiate

PROVIDENCE, R.I. -- LIN TV Corp. (NYSE: TVL), a local television and digital media company, announced today that its current contract with Time Warner Cable, Inc. ("Time Warner") expires on October 2, 2008. Since July, 2008, LIN TV has attempted to reach a new long-term agreement or an extension agreement with Time Warner for both its stations' analog and high-definition signals, however, Time Warner has not responded to its proposals.
