CHICAGO, July 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Visual Information Service Corp. (Nasdaq: VICP) and ESCOM AG announced that the final contract of purchase of Amiga Technologies GmbH by VIScorp was signed on Thursday, July 18, 1996 between the bankruptcy trustee solicitor, Bernhard Hembach, and the president and CEO of VIScorp, William Buck. The purchase has received approval by the 'pool of banks'. This acquisition includes the entire remaining inventory of Amiga, including the intellectual property of the former Commodore Business Machines.
VIScorp has until August 18, 1996 to establish the necessary companies to carry onwith its current business. In the meantime, the business ...
