SANTIAGO, Chile, July 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Banco Santander Chile (NYSE: BSB) today announced its stand-alone financial results for the first half of 1996. These results are reported on a consolidated basis in accordance with Chilean GAAP and are presented in constant Chilean Pesos as of June 30, 1996.
Separately, Banco Santander Chile also announced the stand-alone pre-merger financial results of Banco Osorno y La Union for the first half of 1996. Banco Santander Chile merged with Banco Osorno on July 1, 1996. Banco Osorno's results are reported on a consolidated basis in accordance with Chilean GAAP and are presented in constant Chilean pesos as of June 30, 1996.
