The Daniel Pearl Foundation announced that Alison Krauss, the legendary country bluegrass fiddler and singer, has joined the Honorary Committee of the 7th Annual Daniel Pearl World Music Days (www.danielpearlmusicdays.org), a global network of performances to be held the entire month of October 2008, in the theme "Harmony for Humanity."
"We are deeply honored that Alison Krauss has joined our distinguished World Music Days Honorary Committee," said Judea Pearl, father of Daniel Pearl and president of the Daniel Pearl Foundation.
