SAN FRANCISCO, July 23 /PRNewswire/ -- In the August 1996 issue of Wine & Spirits magazine, a major survey of 1,150 readers and wine buyers listed The Wine Club as the best place to buy fine wine in the San Francisco and Los Angeles markets.
The survey questioned readers about what is important to them in a wine store, how much wine they buy and how much they spend on it. The readers were further asked to rate the various wine shops on selection, staff, service, discounted prices and specials.
