National City branches to close for one afternoon sending more than 1700 employees to perform community service acts
CHICAGO, Sept. 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- National City will close the lobbies of the bank's 126 Chicagoland branches at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, September 24, so that more than 1,700 employees can spend the afternoon volunteering for charities and nonprofit organizations across the area. Through partnership with the United Way of Metropolitan Chicago, National City's Community Appreciation Day will touch 44 organizations and thousands of lives.
