SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 24, 1996--OZ Interactive Inc., a company that employs advanced 3D technology to make the Internet more exciting and sociable for consumers, Wednesday announced the beta release of OZ Virtual.

OZ Virtual participants work and play socially in any VRML (Virtual Reality Modeling Language -- the standard format for 3D) world on the Internet as their own Persona (OZ avatar). The OZ environment is graphically rich, incorporates 3D sound and runs very fast on a Pentium PC and a 14.4 Kbps modem. Starting in early August, users will be able to download a beta of OZ Virtual free of charge from the OZ Web site at http://www.oz-inc.com.
