LONDON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 24, 1996--Cortecs International (NASDAQ: DLVRY/ LSE:COR / ASX:CRI) has commenced two Phase II trials of its oral Pseudomonas aeruginose therapeutic vaccine (Pseudostat) in patients with chronic bronchitis.
The first trial involves 70 patients with chronic bronchitis whose lungs are colonized (infected) by the bacteria Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Haemophilus influenzae. After a course of oral vaccination in tablet form, patients will be followed up for a total of nine months from the date of the first tablet.
