DIVA to begin series of poetry readings
A monthly avant-garde poetry reading series kicks off at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at DIVA, 110 W. Broadway.
The reading will be by Robert Grenier, a key figure of the "language poetry" movement. He has taught literature and creative writing at the University of California, Berkeley; Tufts University; Franconia College; New College of California; and Mills College.
Admission is by sliding scale, up to $5.
Host of the series is Eugene writer Tim Shaner, a recent transplant from Buffalo, N.Y. Poets to be featured in future programs:
