BISMARCK, N.D.--Jul. 23--Grand Forks County residents who qualify for the state's first-time homebuyers program will be able to buy more expensive houses, thanks to the state Industrial Commission's increase of purchase price limits.
The Industrial Commission approved increases in purchase price limits for four North Dakota counties under the federal Home Mortgage Finance Program. The program, administered by the North Dakota Housing Finance Agency, offers below-market interest rate loans to low- and moderate-income first-time homebuyers.
The limits for existing one-unit single family residences were raised to $72,618 for Grand Forks County from $67,484. For ...
