Brookside Dairy (Tanzania) Limited will continue with its investment plans to boost its operations in northern Tanzania despite insufficient milk supplies from dairy farmers. Top among the priorities is the installation of four milk cooling tanks in Kilimanjaro region at the cost of Sh20 million (USD 12,228 ) (about TSh400m).

The tanks, each with the capacity to hold 10,000 litres, will be put up at Moshi, Machame, Marangu and Sanya Juu, according to the firm's officials.The firm, a subsidiary company of Brookside Dairy Limited of Kenya, gets most of its raw milk supplies for its processing plant in Arusha from smallholder dairy farmers ...
