The United States will fund a feasibility study for a liquefied natural gas (LNG) import terminal in Lithuania under an agreement signed between the two countries on Monday. ithuania is concerned about its growing dependence on Russian gas supplies, particularly with the planned shutdown of its Soviet-era nuclear power plant at the end of 2009.
