CALGARY -- The pioneers of one of Canada's most successful independent oil companies are breathing new life into their original company name and planning foreign exploits.
Bow Valley Energy Inc., a name that was retained by its founder Daryl (Doc) Seaman when Talisman Energy Inc. bought out the original company in 1994, has been resurrected and is looking to become an international oil producer.
Walter DeBoni, former president and chief operating officer of Morrison Petroleum Ltd., has been hired as president with a mandate to find private investors to finance a foreign property search.
