Germany's Benecke-Kaliko AG is boosting its ambitions for the North American market by establishing a production plant in Mexico.

The firm is going after a bigger share of high-end interior materials for the automotive industry. Starting next year, the San Luis Potosi plant will make unsupported and supported expanded vinyl and thermoplastic polyolefin compact and expanded sheet for the North and Central American markets.
