Carla Bruni sings live on British TV

London, Sept 17 (PTI) France's first lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy made a rare appearance on British television, performing a live song and appreciating her husband for being "very kind" about her music.

The 40-year-old super model-turned singer, who married French President Nichols Sarkozy in February, appeared alongside rock bands Metallica and Kings of Leon on BBC's 'Later with Jools Holland' yesterday.

Wearing an elegant trouser-suit, Bruni-Sarkozy told the show's host that her husband was "very kind" about her music.
