MANILA, Sept. 18(PNA) -- The National Transmission Corporation (TransCo) is targeting to complete the energization and decongestion of the San Jose substation in Bulacan next October.
Arthur N. Aguilar, president of TransCo said they have just completed the energization of line 2 of the 230-kV Concepcion-Mexico transmission line last Saturday and this allowed the dispatch of additional capacity from Northern Luzon.
Said substation broke down last July.
A 600-MVA transformer in TransCos San Jose substation in Bulacan suffered damaged which resulted in price spikes in the wholesale electricity spot market (WESM).
