Jul. 26--The National Labor Relations Board has approved a formal agreement to end picket line violence and harassment by strikers against Detroit Newspapers, the business operator of the Detroit Free Press and the Detroit News.
The agreement forbids people acting on behalf of six striking union from blocking newspaper driveways and entrances. The NLRB Enforcement Division now must send the agreement to the U.S. Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, where it will be enforced by federal authorities.
