The enthusiasm bordering on frenzy caused by Pulp Fiction in Great Britain and the United States has resulted in two books covering director Quentin Tarantino's short career: Jeff Dawson's Tarantino: Inside Story and Wensley Clarkson's Quentin Tarantino. Certainly Pulp Fiction was a brilliantly inventive follow-up to Tarantino's Reservoir Dogs, but a year later the initial enthusiasm may seem a bit premature, as other Tarantino-inspired features enter the marketplace. Neither the omnibus film Four Rooms, part of which Tarantino wrote and directed, nor From Dusk Till Dawn, developed from an early Tarantino screenplay but directed by Robert Rodriguez, came close to garnering ...
