The last time the U.S. won the Ryder Cup in Brookline in 1999, the American golfers wanted to stick their trophy in Johnny Miller's big mouth after he made what they considered to be insulting comments.

Well, Miller has given the U.S. more motivation to play well when the Ryder Cup begins this morning at Valhalla Golf Club in Louisville, Ky. The NBC golf commentator threw a zinger at U.S. captain Paul Azinger this week, questioning three of his four captain picks. Miller likes the choice of Steve Stricker.
