Afghanistan to have biometric system in five years

KABUL (PAN): The Interpol will help the Afghan government establish a biometric screening system across the conflict-devastated country in the coming five years, an official said on Saturday.
Interpol Secretary General Ronald K. Noble told a joint press conference with a senior Interior Ministry official here that the system would help identify terrorists, criminals and drug traffickers wherever they went from Afghanistan or vice versa.
