ITV Local has teamed up with the Campaign to Protect Rural England (CPRE) to offer online communities the chance to clear up their local area.
The initiative falls under ITV Local's new Snap Britain site, on which users are being encouraged to upload photos of their local area to create a photomap of Britain.
Users can upload photos under categories such as landscapes, pets and family, with visitors then able to view by location and tag.
The CPRE tie-up enables users to also upload images of fly-tipping in their local area to a dedicated section. The worst areas will then be tidied up in a joint effort between CPRE and ITV Local. The ...
