Jul. 29--For just one moment, Ed Speer sounds more like a salesman at Hackers Helper than a metals guy.
Picking up an oversized titanium-head golf club aptly called The Big Boomer, he says, "You see it has a bigger sweet spot. It's lighter so it has a bigger face. The club head goes faster and the darn thing goes further."
But then he doesn't go in for the salesman's kill. "At least that's what they claim it does."
