RIO VISTA, A SMALL RIVER town on the sprawling Sacramento Delta, seems too Huck Finn to be the home of Craig Breedlove. The Los Angeles native hopes to rewrite the record books later this month by becoming the first human to drive a car faster than Mach 1, the speed of sound, roughly 765 miles per hour.
