Leaders of the Transitional Federal Government of Somalias TFG immigration and nationalities docket have denied that the government is responsible for any flight delays for those who do not use the new electronic passport.
The TFG head of the immigration and nationalities office, Abdullahi Gabow Mahmud, said at a press conference held in Mogadishu that those planning to leave the country are expected to use the new electronic passport which replaced the old one.
Mr Gabow added that the government will not be to blame for any resultant flight delays if travellers do not meet the terms of the new directive.
