WORCESTER Raymond L. Plante, 96, of Worcester, died Saturday, September 20, 2008 in the Leo P. LaChance Center, Gardner. His wife, Clara B. (St. Jean) Plante died in 1994.
He leaves three sons, Richard P. Plante of Gardner, Roger L. Plante of Biddeford, Me., and Bernard A. Plante and his wife, Susan W. of Barnstable; a sister, Loretta Cournoyer of Auburn; six grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and nephews and nieces. He was born in Southbridge, a son of Henry L. and Eva (Lusignan) Plante. He later lived in Maine for several years before coming to Worcester where he lived for most of his life.
