Jul. 31--Tuesday's change in top management at Oscar Mayer Foods Corp. reflects the growing role of its corporate parent in the meat maker's business, a transition with varied outcomes for the Madison community.
Beginning this week, Oscar Mayer, a division of Kraft Foods, will be run locally by a general manager, instead of a president. The change is consistent with Kraft's relationship with its other eight divisions, a company spokesman said.
Kraft is owned by Philip Morris Cos.
