IT WAS a reunion - of sorts - that had been a long time coming last night, as veterans of one of Liverpool's most legendary clubs got as near as they ever will to going back to the Eric's of their teenage years.
The new musical, now showing at the Everyman is full of songs from the venue's 1980s heyday.
It is a mere 85 minutes long excluding the interval, but is long enough to cram in birth, death, life and love in every vibrant detail.
