New fund formed in Kazakhstan with Arab investors
ASTANA. Sept 25 (Interfax) - Aztech Investments Ltd., a subsidiary of Abu Dhabi's International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC), Kazakh investment firm Ordabasy and Kazyna Capital Management, a unit of the state sustainable development fund Kazyna, have formed the Falah Growth Fund to invest in companies in Kazakhstan and other CIS countries.
The founding documents for the new investment fund were signed in Almaty, Kazyna Capital Management said in a statement.
A source at Kazyna Capital told Interfax that the fund will have capital of $600 million.
