Hong Kong-based Comba Telecom Systems Holdings has delivered and installed a wireless enhancement solution for China's Beijing-Tianjin Intercity Rail. This solution is the only platform that serves all on-train wireless voice and data services for the passengers, said Comba Telecom.
With a 120km line connecting Beijing to Tianjin, railway trains run at an operational speed of up to 350km per hour. Travel time between these two cities has now been shortened to 30 minutes, according to Comba Telecom.
