Investors on the floor of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) placed 2.715 billion naira on 312.68 million shares in 8,006 deals at the close of trading Tuesday. Market capitalization closed at 9.957 trillion naira, while the All-Share Index was 46,974.54 points in contrast to Monday when Market capitalization ended at 9.993 trillion naira with All-Share Index at 47,194.99 points.
The Insurance sub sector led on the activity chart measured in turn over volume with 141.20 million shares worth 242.96 million naira in 1,301 deals.
