Kyiv discontent over Moscow stance on Ukraine's famine initiatives

Kyiv, September 26 (Interfax) - Russia's statements on Kyiv's international initiatives regarding the 1932-1933 famine are "disrespectful," the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry said in a press statement released on Thursday.

"Ukraine was deeply outraged to hear the statement issued for the media by the Russian Foreign Ministry on September 24, in which it comments in a disrespectful tone on Ukraine's efforts to tell the truth about the 1932-1933 Holodomor (Ukrainian famine) to the whole world," the statement said.
