The Nigerian stock market yesterday closed in red as the market capitalisation of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) dipped further by 0.5 per cent to close at N9.850 trillion from N9.904 trillion recorded at the close of transaction the previous day.
Similarly, the All-Share Index fell by 0.5 per cent to close at 46,466.80 from 46,723.42 points.
A total of 323.3 million ordinary shares were sold at N2.1 billion exchanged in 6,627 deals, compared with 314.5 million ordinary shares worth N2.7 billion executed in 6,587 deals the previous day.
