The Carnegie Council will send a delegation to Beijing from September 21-25, to confer with prominent Chinese academics, policymakers, think tank scholars, and businesspeople on issues of ethics and climate change.
"The overall goal of the trip is to create a global dialogue on ethics," said delegation coordinator Devin Stewart of the Carnegie Council. "Our objectives are two-fold: First, to lay the groundwork for a track-two dialogue between China, Japan, and the United States in order to foster cooperation on climate change and energy; and second, to explore US-Japan-China university faculty development on ethics in international affairs."
